A painting of the past
that slowly fades away
When you stop -
think about it,
Today’s just another day.

the thoughts in my mind
have kept my eyes blind
for everyone to see

What in the world am I saying
Here.
I don’t know?
it doesn’t matter anymore -
to Me.

Or does it…

Seem to be my subconscious thought
The very thing I wish
To forget - but cannot

Ever.

Lasting lifetimes
Though my former has
Gone away.

My world just keeps on
Spinning…
and a New Life begins today;
is the day.

Let me say -

The unsaid words that
Haven’t found my voice,
Emotion flows through my hands.

Please understand -

These understatements
as forever fails my explanation.
Time is the one thing
that has never been
on my side.
