Ink on white like stain on my soul
Words I speak seem lacking control.
Past transgressions brought back to light,
Stealing my life force, bringing me plight
Fueling my fury - this uncertainty
Blurring my vision while I clearly see
Trouble’s your middle name, just leave me be.
Why must you haunt my thoughts constantly?
Unsure of decisions, I always return
Back to where I left you, I never do learn.
Mistaken, forsaken; I’m shaken up, see.
Forever in search of lost tranquility.
